Membership Benefits
In addition to the opportunity to play a top-shelf authentic links course on a regular basis, a Goswick membership includes several valuable benefits. Here is a summary of some of the more prominent ones:
- Advance Online Booking — We set aside blocks of members-only times from 7 am to 10 am (until 11 am during the winter) and again from noon to 1 pm to give members priority over visitors. And you can take advantage of this benefit up to 8 days before you intend to play.
- Members Competititons — Members are encouraged to play in as many qualifying competitions and/or social events as possible. The comps are the best was to establish and maintain your official WHS handicap. And the events can be a great way to connect with other members.
- Reciprocal Clubs — As a Goswick member, you can play several highly regarded UK courses for as little as £30. We also have negotiated special discounted rates for several clubs in Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. And, through our membership in Scotland's Golf Coast, you are entitled to a 50% discount at many of the top courses in East Lothian.
- Members Guests — Another great benefit is the ability to invite guests to join you at Goswick from time to time. In 2025, the member's guest fee is £30 in the morning, £25 between 1 pm and 3:30 pm and £20 after 3:30 pm.
- Members Outings — Once per year, members also have the opportunity to book two or more tee times in advance of the normal 8-day online booking window (with some restrictions). The guest rate for these bookings is £35. Members are encouraged to make a day of it by setting aside enough time before and/or after the round to take full advantage of our catering offerings.
- Members Club Fitting Days — Over the course of the year, our equipment partners — such as Titleist, Callaway and Taylormade — will host custom fitting sessions on our practice facility. Members will always have the first opportunity to claim appointments for these events.
- Members Discounts — Members are entitlted to a 10% discount on all purchases in the Pro Shop of £10 or more and 10% on purchases made in the lounge and bar. Further, our practice membership is offered at a discounted rate compared to the rate for non-members.
