Goswick Golf Links, the top-rated golf course in Northumberland and among the top 100 links courses in GB&I, is looking to add two new members to its greenkeeping staff:
Qualified Greenkeeper – Previous greenkeeping experience with NVQ Level 2 or equivalent sports turf qualification are required and Pa1 Pa2 Pa6a Spraying certificates are desired. The successful candidate should demonstrate good time management and communication skills, have a strong work ethic, a desire to develop new knowledge and skills and the ability to work on own are as part of a team. A full driving licence is also a must. This is a full-time/permanent position with pay commensurate with experience and location.
Mechanic/Greenkeeper – Primary responsibility will be maintaining the greenkeeping equipment and facility in a well organised and safe manner. Includes diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults, maintaining and servicing machinery to the appropriate standard and keeping records of machinery service and maintenance. The successful candidate will need to be willing to work on the golf course as well as in the workshop. A full driving licence is a must. This is a full-time/permanent position with pay commensurate with experience and location.
