In its ongoing commitment to continually raising the standard of its James Braid-designed links, Goswick is looking to augment its greenkeeping staff with a trainee mechanic/greenkeeper.
The right person for this excellent job opportunity will be tasked with:
- Maintaining the greenkeeping equipment, including the club’s fleet of John Deere machinery, and facility in a well-organised and safe manner
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
- Maintaining and servicing machinery to the appropriate standard
- Adhering to Health and Safety regulations
- Working on their own as well as part of a team
Previous related experience is an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided as needed both on the course and through workshops. The right person for this job must have a full driving licence and their own form of transport.
