Goswick Golf Links has entered into an agreement with European Golf Tech (EGT) that aims to build on its ongoing efforts to upgrade the customer experience for its members and visitors alike.
In keeping with this collaboration, Goswick will install EGT’s WiFi-enabled screens in its lounge and dining room. The former will be used primarily to display useful information about events, offers and opportunities associated with the seaside links. The latter will be aimed at delivering new features to societies and groups that choose Goswick to host their golf days, such as live scoring.
Goswick will also have use of a separate mobile screen, equipped with wheels and powered by a rechargeable battery, to better communicate with golfers on the course or elsewhere on the property
“Our James Braid-designed authentic links, set amid the sand dunes along the Northumberland coast, is ranked among the top 50 courses of all kinds in England and among the top 100 links courses in GreatBritain & Ireland,” said Goswick General Manager Keith Martin. “While we continue to invest heavily in our exemplary on-course experience, we are also working very intentionally to lift the quality of the off-course experience to the same high level.
“EGT’s technology is one of many initiatives we believe will help us to achieve this objective. It will allow us to deliver more compelling and dynamic digital content and information to our members and visitors compared with traditional but now old-fashioned analog approaches.
