Goswick's Junior Section bid adieu to a banner year with a fun Christmas competition that included a special visitor from the North Pole.
On the course, each junior paired up with an adult in a greensomes format. Along the way, each team received several 'Christmas gifts,' such as a free throw from a bunker, a kick of the ball out of a tough spot and a free putt. A stiff breeze still made for a tough challenge. But the contestants battled their way around with great determination.
Back in the warmth of the clubhouse, all on hand competed in a Christmas quiz. And before everyone headed for home, Santa himself arrived in a buggy and handed out gifts to each of the juniors. It was a festive and fitting end to an action-packed season that promises to pick up right where it left off in the new year.
