The signs are all around. A chill in the air. A golden hue to the foliage. The lengthening of shadows. The seasons are changing. And while we might not want to admit it, the inevitable end of the prime golf season is fast approaching.
But we’re not there just yet. There’s still time to get in a few more swings around Goswick Golf Links when playing conditions are arguably at their best.
And now, thanks to our new Awesome Autumn visitor competition, you have a chance to also win a prize and a free round of golf along the way.
Here’s how it works:
Step 1
Book up to two rounds at Goswick, at any time of day or day of the week, between the 17th of October and the 22nd of November. The green fee for one round is £60. But if you can play two, the combined green fee is just £100. Either way, the fee includes tea/coffee and a bacon roll before (or after) the golf.
Step 2
On the days you play, check into the pro shop to receive a competition scorecard. The format is Stableford from the yellow tees.
Step 3
After each round, turn your completed scorecard into the pro shop.
Step 4
At the end of November, we will share with you the results of the best individual net score posted by each of the entrants. We’ll also let you know who has qualified for the final, which will be at least 25% of the field.
Step 5
We will then notify each of the finalists of the details for the final round, which will be played on either the first or second weekend of March 2023. A trophy, 4-ball voucher and hole prizes will be up for grabs.
Do the maths and you’ll see that everyone will get to play our top-ranked James Braid classic links up to two times for just £100. And with a bit of luck, you could land one more round at no additional cost.
